Description
SMC Ltd. is hiring a Mold Technician to set up, start up, and troubleshoot injection-molding processes, molds, robots, dryers, heat and cooling systems, runner controllers, and secondary equipment. The role also involves maintaining production-ready floors, recording process parameters in IQMS SPC format, communicating mold issues through maintenance repair orders, and mentoring Mold Technicians at Level One and Level Two. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete SMC Mold Tech Level One and Two requirements, have at least one year of thermoplastic or LSR machine-setup experience, and complete specified SMC training classes. The position offers a Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule and health, dental, and vision insurance.
