Description
SMC Ltd. is hiring a Mold Technician to set up, start up, and troubleshoot injection-molding processes, molds, robots, dryers, heat and cooling systems, runner controllers, and secondary equipment. The role also includes monitoring production, recording process parameters, maintaining the production floor, communicating mold issues, and mentoring Level One and Level Two Mold Technicians. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete SMC Mold Tech Level One and Two requirements, have at least one year of thermoplastic or LSR machine-setup experience, and complete specified SMC training classes. The position offers a Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule and health, dental, and vision insurance.
