Description
The Molding Project Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Unit Leader and owns molding projects, coordinates equipment vendors and plant departments, manages documentation and budgets, supports capital improvements and process modifications, and leads operators, technicians, and engineers through change control. The role also supports mold and press processing, equipment installation and debugging, and training of production personnel. A bachelor’s degree in Molding or Mechanical Engineering and BD Validation Toolkit training or comparable industry validation certification are required; injection-molding, Lean Manufacturing, and vendor-management experience are desirable.
