Description
Monaco is seeking a Founding Engineer to architect, build, and maintain its trading infrastructure. The role involves enhancing matching and risk engines, internal accounting and risk management, optimistic proof generation for batch settlement, new product features, and rigorous code review. The engineer will make important design decisions with substantial autonomy and work directly with the founders. The role requires at least six years of experience in highly technical trading infrastructure or engineering, preferably building a central exchange, along with Rust expertise, low-latency distributed-systems knowledge, and strong low-level architecture understanding.
