The role involves ensuring patient safety in a locked inpatient unit by continuously monitoring behavioral health units, operating patient-monitoring systems, and identifying potential risks such as self-harm. The technician will report incidents, communicate with nursing staff, and recognize unsafe patient behaviors in common areas like dining halls and dayrooms.
