Description
The Mortgage Closing Specialist prepares closing documentation for residential mortgages and manages loan applications from receipt through closing. The role coordinates with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors; processes purchase, construction, and home-equity applications; completes preliminary disclosures; orders flood certificates and property appraisals; and handles closing packages and post-closing follow-up. The position requires excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, moderate typing and computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and at least two years of related experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
