Yaskawa America, Inc. is hiring a Motion Applications Engineer - Custom CNC Machine Specialist to provide CNC technical expertise to customers, support the use of Yaskawa products and services, develop customer relationships, and guide projects from concept through completion. The role requires CNC design knowledge, at least one CNC manufacturing process, G-code programming, CAD/CAM software, and PLC or motion-control experience; software development experience is beneficial. Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, computer, or mechatronics engineering, with an emphasis in controls or machines
Required Previous Experiences: 3 to 5 years of experience in machine tool design, tooling, and user interfaces
Experience with at least one CNC manufacturing process, including milling, routing, turning, plasma cutting, waterjet, or laser cutting
Experience with G-code programming and CAD/CAM software suites such as Fusion
Preferred Qualifications: Experience programming PLCs, motion control systems, and user interfaces
Experience developing software using C#, Windows WPF, IDEs, programmer editors, source control, and issue tracking systems
