1X is hiring a Motor Test Technician to execute hands-on motor and actuator validation testing for its humanoid robot NEO. The role operates dynamometers and other test equipment, prepares and integrates test articles, monitors long-duration tests, performs inspections and teardowns, troubleshoots hardware and test-system failures, and produces accurate test data and technical reports. Candidates need at least three years of hands-on experience testing electric motors, actuators, drive systems, or complex electromechanical hardware, along with experience operating and troubleshooting test equipment and analyzing test data.
