The Conductor/Engineer/Maintenance of Way (MOW) railroad crew position operates and maintains freight trains, inspects equipment, responds to dispatch instructions, performs track and railcar maintenance, and supports customers and other railroad operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, two years of verifiable work experience or college, and the ability to work a 24-hour on-call schedule in all weather conditions. The position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement, requires safety and background screening, and may require a post-offer medical examination.
