McWane Plant and Industrial is hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer in Birmingham, Alabama to develop, configure, and optimize machining processes for large valve components. The role involves proving-out processes, direct CNC programming, setting up and operating large turning equipment, machining cast components, improving setup and throughput, training machinists, and supporting new-product introduction. Candidates need at least five years of turning-focused machining experience plus manual CNC programming, along with blueprint reading, machining fundamentals, and strong communication skills. The position works the first shift Monday through Friday and includes company health insurance and other benefits.
