Description
The MRI Imaging Assistant supports MRI technologists in an outpatient setting by preparing and screening patients, communicating expectations, assisting with positioning and contrast observation, maintaining MRI safety and equipment, documenting care, and supporting emergency responses. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, completion of an approved MRI Imaging Assistant education program, and knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, and basic medical terminology. It is an hourly, non-exempt position with variable day or evening shifts and benefits eligibility.
