Description
The Lead Technologist performs MRI under the direction of the Chief Technologist, Technical Director, or Radiologist and oversees ongoing activity at assigned facilities. The role supervises employees, maintains organizational policies and procedures, handles physician, patient, and technologist complaints, and maintains daily quality assurance and weekly ACR duties. The position requires MRI and A.R.R.T./ARMRIT registration, ongoing recertification, leadership ability, knowledge of MRI equipment and protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, RIS and PACS, patient care, safety, and the ability to support heavy workflow.
