Description
The MRI Patient Coordinator provides coordination for MRI patients from scheduling through exam completion, serving as a liaison between MRI staff and providers. The role handles patient identification, medical and MRI safety screening, insurance authorization, patient education, provider communication, and coordination of care, while assisting with patient movement, positioning, and documentation. It is a PRN, rotating-shift position requiring a high school diploma or GED, one year of relevant experience, and Basic Life Support within 180 days.
