Description
The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging under the direction of a Chief or Lead Technologist, Technical Director, or Radiologist. The role requires specialized MRI training, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI safety and protocols, patient care, contrast administration, RIS and PACS, and emergency procedures. The technologist must obtain A.R.R.T./ARMRIT and MRI certification within 12 months and submit current licensure or certification documentation. The position also requires adherence to safety, confidentiality, infection-control, and departmental policies, along with physical duties including standing, walking, and handling equipment.
