Description
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in quality and process improvement, and educates residents and student technologists. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, AHA BLS training, and at least one year of radiologic technologist experience or advanced MR certification. The position is based at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Oakland County and offers up to $10,000 in a sign-on bonus based on relevant experience.
