Description
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in quality and process improvement, and educates residents and students. The role requires ARRT registration in Radiology or Magnetic Resonance Imaging, AHA BLS training, and at least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or advanced MR certification.
