Description
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, responds to medical emergencies, provides post-care instructions, and participates in quality and process-improvement activities. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT registration, AHA BLS training, at least one year of radiologic technologist experience, and the ability to operate imaging equipment and provide patient care.
