Description
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic MRI procedures, obtains patient histories, screens for MRI safety, administers contrast media, coordinates patient flow, evaluates image quality, and maintains equipment. The role requires an associate degree in Allied Health with medical imaging or MRI physics coursework, CPR certification within 30 days of hire, and ARRT RT (R) or ARMRIT registry certification; MRI registry and ODH licensure are preferred. No prior job-related experience is required, while one year of MRI experience is preferred. The position has varied PRN hours and may include on-call responsibilities.
