Responsible for operating the MRI scanner, performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, administering contrast agents, and providing images to the facility. The technologist also performs equipment quality checks, assists with setup/takedown, maintains a clean environment, and handles administrative tasks like time reports and billing. Adherence to quality assurance guidelines, patient confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards are essential.
