Description
The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging exams under general supervision, verifies patient identity and medical history, explains procedures and risks, acquires images, reviews and documents findings, communicates with radiologists, responds to emergencies, provides post-care instructions, participates in quality and process improvement, and educates residents and students. The role requires ARRT or ARMRIT registration, AHA BLS training, and at least one year of radiologic technologist experience or advanced MRI certification.
