Description
Inova Mt. Vernon Hospital is hiring a full-time MRI Technologist for Monday through Friday evenings. The role involves communicating with patients, obtaining clinical histories and informed consent, assisting physicians with MRI examinations, using IV and central-line knowledge, maintaining patient safety, and performing routine imager maintenance. Applicants must have radiography or nuclear-medicine education with MRI training, ARRT or equivalent certification, Basic Life Support, and must obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire; prior hospital or healthcare experience is preferred, with one year of MRI experience preferred.
