Description
The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, performs MRI procedures under limited radiologist direction, processes images, prepares and administers contrast media, coordinates patient care, and documents findings for physicians. The role requires MRI or radiologic technology education, ARRT or ARMRIT registration, BLS certification, and hospital-specific safety and venipuncture certifications; a bachelor's degree in radiologic technology is preferred.
