Description
The OpenStack Platform Engineer will join an internal OpenStack team building and operating private and sovereign cloud platforms for enterprise clients in Western Europe. The role involves installing and configuring OpenStack components with Kolla-Ansible, preparing infrastructure nodes, configuring networking and storage, deploying monitoring and logging, handling second-line incidents, executing maintenance and upgrades, maintaining configuration repositories, automating work with Ansible and CI pipelines, and participating in on-call rotation. The position requires at least three years of production Linux administration, including OpenStack, along with experience operating core OpenStack services, troubleshooting compute, volume, and network issues, and using KVM, libvirt, Ansible, Git, and networking fundamentals.
