Description
Montana State University is hiring a non-tenure-track MSSE Instructor to teach graduate-level science or education courses in the Master of Science in Science Education program. The position is part-time, contract-based, and may be assigned for a few weeks, a semester, or an academic year depending on departmental needs. Duties include online and campus field or laboratory instruction in disciplines such as ecology, biology, chemistry, earth science, microbiology, physics, engineering, computer science, plant science, and education. Applicants need a doctorate or master’s degree in a relevant science, science education, engineering, agriculture, or related field, plus university, K-12, education-coordinator, or curriculum-development experience; familiarity with science-education standards, distance learning, and graduate-course development is preferred. Applications are accepted on a continual basis and retained in a hiring pool for up to two years.
