GlobalFoundries is seeking an Etch Process Engineer to develop etch processes for new technology offerings and advanced manufacturing in a 200mm high-volume semiconductor foundry. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with product development, process integration, fabs, and equipment suppliers; conducting R&D experiments; benchmarking practices; and supporting environmental, health, safety, and security requirements. Candidates need a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in a relevant engineering or science field, at least five years of etch process development experience, hands-on etch tooling knowledge, and English fluency. The expected salary range is $98,000 to $176,000.
