Description
Collinear is hiring an MTS Research Team Member to build high-fidelity simulation environments and evaluation stacks for frontier AI agents. The role involves designing agentic environments, developing policy-aware verification and evaluation systems, conducting post-training runs, analyzing model failure modes, and building scalable frontier data pipelines. Candidates should have a technical degree or equivalent proof of work, strong software engineering and Python skills, foundation-model knowledge, and research or experimental experience; prior experience with reinforcement learning, simulation systems, agentic environments, large-scale model fine-tuning, or influential ML research is advantageous. The role offers a California base salary of $160,000 to $400,000 per year, plus equity, benefits, and bonuses.
