PQ Corporation Joliet is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician to maintain on-site equipment and facility infrastructure through mechanical, electrical, and instrumented systems. The role is primarily for a Journeyman Mechanic or Journeyman Electrician with secondary skills in the other discipline, including rotating and stationary equipment maintenance, electrical distribution and control systems, instrumentation, repairs, documentation, and safety compliance. Candidates need a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of manufacturing experience, and must pass the relevant mechanical or electrical and instrumentation evaluation. The position requires scheduled and unscheduled overtime and offers a starting pay of $46.97.
