Description
The Multi-Modality Technologist (CT & X-Ray) performs as-needed CT and X-ray imaging procedures, operates imaging equipment, selects appropriate sequences, obtains clinical histories, verifies patient identification, and provides radiation protection. The role may also perform venipuncture, prepare and administer contrast, and use a power injector. Certification and registration with ARRT, state licensure, and an associate degree from an ARRT-accredited or approved program are required; BLS, healthcare experience, and electronic health record training are preferred.
