Description
The Multi-Modality Technologist 3 performs procedures across three imaging modalities, such as X-ray, CT, and MRI, and produces images for licensed practitioners. Responsibilities include operating equipment, selecting imaging sequences, obtaining clinical histories, verifying patient identification, providing radiation and other protection, performing venipuncture, administering contrast or medications, and using power injectors. The role requires ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT certification, competence in three imaging modalities, and an associate's degree from an accredited radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound/sonography program; one year of healthcare experience is preferred.
