Description
The Multi-Modality Technologist 2 performs two imaging modalities, such as X-ray, CT, or MRI, and operates equipment, selects imaging sequences, obtains clinical information, verifies patient identity, and provides radiation and patient safety. The role may require venipuncture, IV access, and administration of medications or contrast, and includes on-call scheduling. Required qualifications include ARRT, RDMS, or CNMT certification and competency in two imaging modalities; an associate degree from an ARRT-accredited or approved program is listed, along with preferred healthcare experience and BLS training.
