This includes promoting sales, assisting customers, processing orders, ensuring accurate product inspection and logging, stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Specific responsibilities vary by department, covering POS operations, produce preparation, meat/seafood handling, bakery/deli prep, and overall store cleaning.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Ability to operate checkstands, memorize PLU codes, and stay updated on new products.
Experience in ordering, receiving, unloading, stocking, and rotating products for center store operations.
Proficiency in merchandise management and performing POS/inventory activities.
Knowledge of proper produce trimming, washing, and wrapping techniques.
Skill in weighing, packaging, and labeling products for display.
Ability to prepare, weigh, package, and label baked goods and deli products.
Capacity to take special orders for baked goods and deli items.
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like ovens, proofers, slicers, and mixers.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Responsibility for thorough cleaning of restroom facilities, break rooms, offices, shelving, equipment, carts, and vending machines.
Ability to manage waste disposal effectively.
Authorization and certification to operate forklifts.
Authorization to operate baling equipment.
Experience with Point-of-Sale systems and inventory management.
Strong ability to stock, rotate, and merchandise products to ensure freshness and visual appeal.
Consistent maintenance of department cleanliness and equipment care.
