Description
Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the Global WHS Program and serve as the site safety champion. The role combines hands-on safety management with strategic partnerships with Operations leadership, including risk assessments, safety data analysis, compliance, audits, incident-trend analysis, first aid and emergency response, training, and safety culture development. The position requires 50–70% travel, various shifts, and physical work involving lifting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and variable environmental conditions. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon blue-badge/FTE experience, 3+ years of increasing responsibility in WHS or environmental programs, and 3+ years of increasing responsibility in people and performance management or 2+ years of Amazon Safety experience.
