Description
The Site Supervisor manages a designated room or area in a local elementary school before- and after-school child care setting, planning and supervising developmentally appropriate activities, supervising assistant teachers, maintaining records and safety procedures, coordinating with parents and school personnel, and supporting YMCA program operations. The role works a split shift of 6 a.m.–7 a.m. and 2 p.m.–6 p.m., plus office hours, for 25–30 hours per week and may be a nine-month school-year position, a three-month summer program, or both. Requirements include an undergraduate degree or associate degree in a relevant field, CDA and two years of related experience, background checks, physical and TB requirements, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and the ability to supervise adults and work with diverse populations.
