Description
The Shift Engineer, including Electrical Engineer, performs preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in an automated manufacturing environment. The role works rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, follows safety and GMP procedures, completes CMMS documentation, carries out PPM inspections, conducts initial root-cause analysis, supports contractors, and responds to emergency situations. It reports to the Reactive Maintenance Manager and requires a recognised engineering qualification, 3+ years of maintenance engineering experience in an automated manufacturing operation, 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, and SAP/SCADA experience; Lamb Weston chemical training, H+S, GMP, and food safety are desirable. The salary is £50,000 per annum.
