Description
DPD is recruiting a Network Engineering Manager, internally known as a Network Sortation Engineer, to maintain and repair sortation equipment across depots in the South East and London. The role covers electrical and mechanical fault finding, ad hoc repairs, preventive and reactive maintenance, SCADA-based diagnostics, service reporting, and coordination with Security, Operations, and IT. It requires a recognised engineering apprenticeship or appropriate engineering qualification with an electrical bias, experience with automated environments and conveyor systems, a full UK driving licence, and a Panama shift covering days 7am–7pm and nights 8pm–8am. The contract is permanent at 42 hours per week with a salary of circa £58,000 plus a bonus.
