Description
Biffa is hiring a Multi Skilled Operative in Lingerton and Lochgilphead to operate mobile plant such as compactors, telehandlers, and shunter vehicles with attachments to move waste materials safely and maintain contractual and regulatory compliance. The role includes daily and weekly plant checks, cleaning and minor maintenance, incident reporting, risk-assessment compliance, site housekeeping, and occasional support at other regional sites. The position pays £28,371 per annum on a 10 on, 4 off shift pattern and requires mobile plant experience, heavy machinery knowledge, basic health, safety, environmental and APHA compliance understanding, and the ability to perform minor repairs under guidance.
