Rice University’s Department of Computer Science is hiring a Multimedia Content Specialist to identify and develop stories about faculty, students, research, and departmental life, then produce and publish multimedia content across video, social media, podcasts, web, and other digital channels. The role owns recurring series and campaigns, builds the department’s YouTube and social media presence, interviews sources, collaborates with university and external partners, reviews audience analytics, and may coach faculty and students. The position is primarily in person with some remote flexibility, requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related professional experience, and pays $75,000–$80,000 annually.
