Description
Microsoft AI is hiring a Member of Technical Staff, Multimodal Infrastructure to build large-scale infrastructure supporting the full lifecycle of multimodal generative models for Copilot and related products. The role covers multimodal data processing, pretraining and post-training frameworks, inference and serving systems, model evaluation, alignment, and reinforcement learning from human feedback. The engineer will collaborate with research scientists and product engineers, influence software and hardware architecture, and work in a fast-paced consumer product environment. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, with higher experience thresholds for the preferred IC5 and IC6 pay bands. The role is open for at least five days and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
