Munitions Handler at U.S. Army Sustainment Command

The Munitions Handler receives, stores, issues, ships, and inspects ammunition; verifies shipments, maintains shipping and storage documents, loads ammunition according to regulations, inspects for corrosion and deterioration, and operates 6,000-pound forklifts and ½ to 2 ½ ton trucks. The role is a term appointment not to exceed 13 months, may be extended, and requires a Secret security clearance, background investigation, drug testing, physical examination, ammunition certification, forklift training, and a valid driver's license. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to perform the work without more than normal supervision.
