Description
Friedenstein Stiftung Gotha is hiring a full-time Museologist for the Bromacker project, initially limited until 31 December 2026 with a possible extension until 31 December 2027. The role supports excavation, research, and knowledge transfer related to the Bromacker fossil deposit, including site find documentation, data collection and evaluation, annual excavation reporting, digitization of the Geoscience Collection, database maintenance, loan transactions, and coordination with project partners. Applicants need a university degree in geosciences or museology or relevant vocational training, museum collection experience, basic geoscience knowledge, English proficiency, and IT skills; QGIS experience is advantageous. The position offers TVöD-VKA EG 9c compensation, pension provision, and capital-forming benefits.
