Description
The Music Assistant provides instruction and support in instrumental music classes at Twin Peaks Middle School, including warm-ups, rehearsals, ear training, music theory, instrument instruction, music transcription and arrangement, recordkeeping, and coordination of concerts and festivals. The role is part-time, typically on school days, with possible evening and weekend performances, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus three years of music-program experience. Candidates with a valid California teaching credential or a bachelor's degree and CBEST may be placed at Step 6 of the salary range.
