Description
The Pharmacy Technician assists the Director of Pharmacy, coordinators, team leaders, and pharmacists by preparing, distributing, and documenting medications after receiving physician orders. The role is PRN and requires a high school diploma or GED, enrollment in a pharmacy college, and Licensed Pharmacy Intern status. No prior job-related experience is required, but hospital, long-term care, or retail experience is preferred. The position requires strong communication, computer, pharmacy software, and basic calculation skills, along with the ability to troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and work as part of a healthcare team.
