Description
The NCPK Teacher Assistant supports Head Start and Early Head Start programs by helping plan and execute age-appropriate curriculum, manage a safe and inclusive learning environment, interact with children and families, observe and assess development, participate in IEP and team meetings, and maintain classroom operations. The role reports to the Center Director, requires a CDA or AA in a related field with 18 semester hours in ECE/CD, and offers preferred AA in Early Childhood Education and two years of early childhood work experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
