Description
The Nondestructive Tester works in Quality and performs radiographic, penetrant, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle tests on metal and nonmetallic parts. The role includes reviewing test orders, preparing parts, calibrating and setting up test equipment, locating defects, evaluating results against standards, marking defective areas, and preparing reports. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, basic reading, writing, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
