MISTRAS Group is hiring a Guided Wave Technician (GUT) in Jacksonville, Florida to perform guided-wave ultrasonic testing on aboveground, underground, insulated, sleeved, elevated, and difficult-to-access piping and other applicable assets. The role involves setting up and operating testing equipment, selecting inspection parameters, collecting and interpreting data, identifying corrosion, erosion, wall loss, and other material degradation, documenting findings, preparing inspection reports, communicating results, and maintaining calibration and records. Candidates need documented guided-wave training and field experience, knowledge of ultrasonic principles and piping systems, and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
