Description
The NDT Technician performs nondestructive testing on welds and materials using radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant methods. The role evaluates conformity and non-conformity, determines acceptance or rejection, reports findings, and coordinates with QC inspectors on rectification and re-examination. It requires a two-year engineering degree or high school diploma, three or more years of radiography or ultrasonic experience, ASNT or CSWIP qualification, and competency under internationally recognized schemes.
