Intuitive Machines is hiring Flight Software Engineers in Houston, Texas to support its Nebula spacecraft and Nova fleet of landers. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining flight software; analyzing and testing integrated hardware and software solutions; assessing I/O performance; coordinating unit and integration testing; and interfacing with hardware design and development. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in physics or engineering, 5–10 years of C/C++ development and hardware/software integration experience, familiarity with serial and packetized communications protocols, and strong software quality and testing skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with CFS, device drivers, SpaceWire, logging frameworks, xUnit, Windows and POSIX operating systems, Docker, agile development, and Gitflow.
