Description
Wheelcare Express Inc. is hiring full-time NEMT drivers to transport patients to and from medical appointments and other engagements. The role involves safe and timely vehicle operation, vehicle inspections, trip documentation, wheelchair and gurney lift operation, dispatch communication, safety and COVID protocols, and client instruction. Applicants need a valid California driver’s license, good driving record, at least 23 years of age, and the ability to pass alcohol and drug testing, background checks, First Aid and CPR training, and a Department of Transportation physical. Past NEMT driver experience is a plus but not required because training is provided.
