Description
Driscoll Children's Hospital is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide independent and coordinated clinical care for sick neonates in a neonatal intensive care setting. The role includes assessing and diagnosing neonatal patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, prescribing and managing medications and multiple therapies, coordinating referrals and continuity of care, documenting treatment plans, and educating and counseling families. Applicants need Texas RN and advanced-practice licensure, national NNP certification or enrollment in an approved NNP program, significant neonatal experience, and Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support certification.
