.NET Senior Backend Developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform. This role involves implementing robust backend services, developing Optimizely CMS/Commerce/DXP solutions, utilizing AI-assisted development tools, writing clean code, participating in code reviews, creating RESTful and GraphQL APIs, working with Azure IaC practices, maintaining automated tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying updated on emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications: experienced .NET Senior Backend Developer
design, build, and maintain high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform
work as a skilled individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team
leveraging AI-assisted development practices to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications
working closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to bring complex features to life
Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core (.NET 8+)
Build and maintain Optimizely CMS / Commerce / DXP solutions — including content modeling, APIs, middleware and custom integrations
Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Vertex Studios, Claude code assist or equivalent LLM-based tooling to improve velocity and code quality
Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews, contributing constructive feedback to peers
Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs consumed by front-end teams, third-party systems, and microservices
Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure; contribute to IaC practices (Terraform / Bicep)
Write and maintain automated tests — unit, integration, and regression — in collaboration with QA
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend services and platform integrations
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery with cross-functional teams
Stay current on emerging technologies — including AI/ML services — and share learnings with the team
